The Phoenix Saga

​​Phoenix Specialty Cakes was born from a Nanna's heart to a god-son.  Dwayne Phoenix was taught his Nanna's recipe at the ripe young age of 10.  He has been baking her specialty

cakes every since.  With a heart of love baked in each cake, Dwayne had a dream to "share with the world" Nanna's cakes, by starting Phoenix Specialty Cakes in Spring, 2011.

Bringing all of his New Orleans origins and natural ability to cook good food, Dwayne capitaved family and friends when he made his first, "New Orleans Specialty Cake," for a church conference.  He was amazed when someone said, "I don't know who made this cake, but they are definitely coming home with me tonight!"

Phoenix Specialty Cakes are based in Tyler, Texas.  Dwayne shares his love for baking cakes with his wife, Pam.  They also offer services with the following companies:  Triple J & Associates (oil & gas), Phoenix Contracting, Phoenix Landscaping, Phoenix Window Tinting, Phoenix Carpet Cleaners, and non-profits, V.I.P. Ministries, You Are Loved Obesity Center, both in-progress non-profit 501(c)(3) organizations that assist individuals with addictions to overcome their disease, as well as Flight of the Phoenix Prayer Conference Call (weekly).  A percentage of the proceeds from Phoenix Specialty Cakes is donated to these entities to help individuals become whole.
